Visual Journal Entries from 1 July 2024 to 31 December 2024. To live against forgeting things, I start documenting life. The project starts as a playful approach to document everyday life, and gradually becomings a space to meditate and reflect my feelings and emotions. I also use the small booklets as a playground to explore layout and visual storytelling.

I made an entry every day, thoughout the six months in 2024. On each day, a drew a page or two, and by the end of the week, I filled up an 8-page folded zine. Documenting is also a process of editing, to pick the most interesting parts of the day while avoid repeated contents. Sometimes, I need to work against laziness, illness, and sometimes, the boring everyday life. I presented the project at artist book fairs. People read and responded to my diaries, and I made new friends and developed new conversations from the old project. The documented past is still influencing me.

Mono-log Since 2022 Mono-log is an ongoing short comic project that explores the overlooked narratives embedded in mundane objects. The project currently comprises three titles: Garrish Shoes, a story about shoes, school rules, and self- expression; Discerning Eye, a discursive visual journal on moving house and discarded objects; and the latest project, Haunting Item, which reveals the stories behind lost belongings and their haunting memories.
